Our Story

It started with a lab report no one in the family could read.

A relative handed me a stack of test results. Highlighted values. Abbreviations. Reference ranges. Two appointments and a follow-up referral — and nobody in the room could explain, in plain English, what any of it meant.

I had spent a quarter-century engineering systems where latency is measured in microseconds and a single bad line of code can cost millions. I watched that same family member reduced to guesswork and Google. That contrast broke something open.

I set out to build the tool I wished we had that evening — not a Swiss-army "AI health assistant" that tries to schedule appointments, diagnose rashes, and draft insurance appeals all at once. Something narrower. Something better at one thing than anyone else.
